Madhuri Dixit

MadhuriMadhuri Dixit is an acclaimed Indian actress known for her performance in the movies 'Beta, Saajan', and 'Hum Aapke Hain Koun ..!' She started her career in the 1980s and gained fame with her appearance in the movie 'Tezaab' in which she appeared with veteran actor Anil Kapoor. In the film 'Dil,' she starred with Aamir Khan. Born to a middle-class, middle-class family from Mumbai and began learning dance from a young age. In her early years she attempted acting but failed for a few years. She was eventually successful and was one of the top actors in Indian film. She had a short break from her career following her marriage prior to returning to the entertainment business. She was also an important role in the film "Gulaab Gang", which was about the challenges faced by women in India. Dixit was nominated for 15 Filmfare Awards. She won eight. She also received the Padma Shri, the fourth most prestigious civilian award in India. She is well-known for her social works as well.
