Nora Lum was born to Chinese Koreans living who resided in Forest Hills Queens. Her first exposure to music was via the trumpet. Later, she began traditional and hip-hop training. After becoming famous via the Internet, her song My Vag was a reaction to the song of Mickey Avalon's My Dick. It eventually appeared on the album she released, Yellow Ranger.
