Robyn Rihanna Fenty also referred to as Rihanna is a Barbadian singer-songwriter who gave us hit songs such as Pon de Replay SOS Umbrella and Take a Bow. She's a hugely popular performer who has sold more than 41 million albums worldwide and more than 150 million songs. Born in Barbados she grew up listening to reggae music and began singing when she was quite young. Her discontent was caused by the mess within her home and the constant disagreements between her parents. So she began to get involved in music. In high school, she formed a music group, and was asked to perform with Evan Rodgers. The producer was extremely impressed by the talent of this teenager. To earn a living as a professional musician, Rodgers asked her to relocate to New York. Rihanna soon became an international star following her first release. The songs that were aplenty of foot tapping quickly became the top choice of teens, which led her to venture into films as well.
